Hayley Dee Westenra born 10 April 1987 in Christchurch, New Zealand is a soprano of Irish heritage she possess the voice of an angel( I thinks she is lost in the mortals world...hehe...great voices man!!!!). Her first internationally released album, Pure, reached #1 on the UK classical charts in 2003 and has sold more than two million copies worldwide. Westenra has received awards for her contribution to music, both in New Zealand and elsewhere. She even sings Japanese song( translated into English). Her new album TREASURE was realese on the 26 February 2007, just a month after its release, Treasure topped the New Zealand album charts, and has so far gone two-times platinum (35,000 copies sold) in New Zealand, the album was #9 in the UK charts).
And yet we can’t help but be won over by her complete cuteness and confidence in front of millions of viewers. Hayley is on the innocent side of the fence and, as a consequence, she doesn’t spill over with sex appeal.
